摘要一:Steganography is the science of secret message delivery using cover media. A digital image is a flexible medium used to carry a secret message because the slight modification of a cover image is hard to distinguish by human eyes. In this talk, I will introduce some novel steganographic methods based on different magic matrices. Among them, one method that uses a turtle shell magic matrix to guide cover pixels’ modification in order to imply secret data is the newest and the most interesting one. Experimental results demonstrated that this method, in comparison with previous related works, outperforms in both visual quality of the stego image and embedding capacity. In addition, I will introduce some future research issues that derived from the steganographic method based on the magic matrix.
摘要二:The computer technologies have grown significantly in the past years. More and more multimedia products such as digital cameras have become popular, so digital images are shared and transmitted widely over Internet. However, transmitting secret or important images, such as military or commercial images, over Internet is very dangerous. Malicious users may monitor Internet and try to eavesdrop these valuable images. To protect these images, visual cryptography is necessary for secure communications over Internet. Herein, secret image sharing can be applied to achieve the goal of visual cryptography. In this speech, I will talk about some visual cryptosystems based on the concept of secret image sharing.
As for the topic of secret image sharing, the secret image sharing scheme uses several noise-like images, called shadows, to replace the original image transmitting over the Internet. The shadows can avoid threats from the illegal persons to access the secret image directly. Secret image sharing techniques were proposed to be another branch outside traditional cryptographic techniques and steganography. Based on sharing secret images, visual cryptography for binary images, grayscale images and color images will be introduced.
张真诚教授个人简历
张真诚,台湾省台中市人,先后就读于国立清华大学数学系、计算机管理决策研究所和国立交通大学计算机工程研究所,1982年获得国立交通大学计算器工程博士学位,曾任交通大学副教授、中兴大学教授、清华大学教授,中正大学资讯工程研究所教授兼所长、自动化研究中心主任、工学院院长、教务长、代理校长、讲座教授与教育部顾问室主任等职务,并曾任日本东京大学与京都大学客座研究员与客座科学家。现任逢甲大学讲座教授,中正大学荣誉教授与清华大学合聘教授。张教授对于信息安全、密码学与多媒体图像处理三大领域进行长期而深入之研究,于国内外学术期刊、国际学术会议与学术专书共计发表研究论文数百余篇及学术专书36册,研究成果丰硕。根据Google Scholar的统计,共获引用二万三千四百余次,h影响因子为73,1998年当选为国际电子电机工程师学会(IEEE) 会士与英国电机工程师学会(IET) 会士。2017年8月Guide2Research发布了全球计算机科学领域的论文期刊、学术会议和科学家等学术影响力排名。在千名世界级顶级科学家,张真诚教授位列全台第1名。
