徐常胜,中国科学院自动化研究所模式识别国家重点实验室研究员,博士生导师,中国-新加坡数字媒体研究院执行院长,国家杰出青年基金获得者。目前是国际电子电气工程师学会会士(IEEE Fellow),国际模式识别学会会士(IAPR Fellow)和美国计算机学会杰出科学家(ACM Distinguished Scientist),也是美国计算机学会杰出演讲者(ACM Distinguished Speaker)。担任国际刊物“IEEE Transactions on Multimedia”和“ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications and Applications”副主编(Associate Editor)以及“ACM/Springer Multimedia Systems Journal”、“International Journal of Multimedia Tools and Applications”、“International Journal of Multimedia Intelligence and Security”和“Journal of Multimedia”编委(Member of Editorial Board),担任过国际顶级多媒体会议“2009 ACM Multimedia Conference”程序委员会主席和2010年全国多媒体会议程序委员会主席。担任过多个知名多媒体国际会议的组织委员会和程序委员会成员。在多媒体分析,计算机视觉,模式识别,图像处理等领域发表论文200多篇,其中IEEE/ACM Trans.论文57篇,获得发明专利30项。担任国家自然科学基金委信息学部专家评审组成员和科技部973项目信息领域会评专家,获得过首届CCF青年科学家奖,2012/2013年中科院优秀导师奖,2012年“ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communication and Applications” 和2008年“ACM/Springer Multimedia Systems Journal”最佳编委奖,2004年新加坡陈嘉庚发明银奖。
摘要:
Advances in computing, networking, and multimedia technologies have led to a tremendous growth of sports video content and accelerated the need of analysis and understanding of sports video content. Sports video analysis has been a hot research area and a number of potential applications have been identified. In this talk, I will summarize our research achievement on semantics extraction and automatic editorial content creation and adaptation in sports video analysis. First I will introduce mid-level audio/visual features which are able to bridge the semantic gap between low-level features and high-level understanding. Then I will introduce emerging applications on editorial content creation and content enhancement/adaptation in sports video analysis, including event detection, tactic analysis, automatic broadcast video generation and sports MTV generation. Finally, I will identify future directions in terms of research challenges remained and real applications expected.
